What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?

Imagine a project as a cake. The designers are the sponge and the icing, and the decorators are the sprinkles on top. Without the sponge and icing, the cake is just sprinkles. We are proud to tell you that we are the sponge, icing, sprinkles, packaging and even the delivery van.

Can I get advice from you and do the project myself?

While we strongly advise that you trust us with executing a successful turnkey project, we acknowledge that sometimes people have their hearts set on DIY. Please contact us to set up a meeting to discuss DIY options.

How far are you willing to travel for a project?

Our design team is able to work with you from wherever you are in the world, and we are willing and able to travel to you to execute the project.

Pricing

How much do you charge?

We determine our fees from the scope, scale, time frame and level of detail you would like. This means that each project is completely different. Please contact us to set up a meeting to discuss pricing options.

Will you work within my budget?

Yes, it is very important to define a budget in our briefing phase. This enables us to design with this in mind in order to keep within your budget. Let us use our expertise to give you the best we can with what you have to work with. There is no project too big or too small for us.

I prefer to be eco-friendly by re-using and recycling instead of buying new, are you willing to do that?

A major part of our business ethos is sustainability. We are always willing to see how we can repurpose furniture items. Other ways we believe we can be sustainable is by supporting local businesses, using natural sustainable materials, and purchasing items that are long-wearing and low maintenance.

Process

I am feeling overwhelmed, where do I begin with a new project?

Hire a professional, get us involved so that we can guide you through the initial daunting phases where planning and vision are needed. Together we can find your style and develop a strategic plan in order to get the ball rolling and put your mind at ease.

At what point in the project should I hire an interior designer?

Right away! The sooner the better, so that we may guide you through the process. This also allows us to help you with decision making, creating a well designed interior with nothing that looks like an after thought.

Will I get to see samples of finishes?

Yes, we will prepare samples of all your finishes for sign off. Allowing you to touch and feel your space before it goes into production.

What if I would like to make changes to your initial design proposal?

We will gladly rework your design concept until you are 100% happy with it as it is your space after all so we want you to love it. This is why the initial briefing stage is so important in order to get an understanding of your personal style or brand.

Please contact us if you have more questions or suggestions, we would love to hear from you.
